Hi there!

My name is Mary. I am a Speech and Language Pathologist working with children aged 0-5 in the Philadelphia, PA area since 2014, as well as a yoga and meditation teacher. I love empowering young language learners, and their families, through communication, emotional intelligence, and play.

I work in a world of meeting people where they are at: empathizing, encouraging, and collaborating to implement strategies and structures that support growth. I have interest in the areas of using communication as a way to build connection in friendships and families, grow and heal communities, learn our environment, and foster independence. Drawing from my background as a yoga teacher, I find value in understanding and working with our body’s somatic experience, and realize understanding and communicating our own inner experience is what children will learn and copy. As adults, our work comes in modeling the way the world works to our children, modeling how we understand and deal with emotions, creating space for community to gather, and sharing activities that bond and share skills. As a planet, our livelihood rests on renewed connection. Our future generation will learn how to be in the world as a direct result of us.
